Park Springs, the leading continuing care retirement community in the Southeast, recently announced it will offer personal in-home care services to residents in Cobb, DeKalb, Forsyth, Fulton and Gwinnett Counties. The service was previously only available for Members of Park Springs. The services are designed to enhance customer’s health and quality of life by helping patients recover and maintain independence in the comfort, safety and security of their own home.

“Park Springs Home Care provides far more than nursing care,” says Barbara Scurry, Healthcare Services Consultant at Park Springs. “In addition to personal and home services tailored to fit you or your family members needs, our staff can also help determine if our services are a covered benefit by your insurance company.  We’ve seen what a big difference in-home care makes and we’re excited to offer it outside of our community!”

In addition to customization of care, Park Springs Home Care services also handle verification of claims; provides necessary documentation and can file a claim for the individual.
Services offered include: medication management; medication reminders; escort to appointments and errands, companionship, prescription pick-up, meal pickup, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.

In addition to the services rendered, Park Springs’s certified Nurse Aides also provide assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, cognitive impairment, mobility and memory stimulation.

• Recovery from recent hip or knee replacement surgery
• To help alleviate the stress and strain of a recent hospital discharge
• Medication management

All of Park Springs Nurse Aides are certified, have CPR certification and have undergone thorough criminal background checks. Nurse Aides are licensed, bonded, and undergo a continuous training program.
