Southeast Construction Magazine recently honored Kairos Development mid-rise, The Astoria at the Aramore with an “Award of Excellence” during its Best Of 2009 awards program in Orlando, Fl. The competition recognizes construction and design excellence in the four-state region of Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina.

This year’s competition was the largest to date with nearly 200 entries vying for top honors in 20 different categories based on construction type. The Astoria at the Aramore was recognized in the Multifamily Residential/Hospitality, under $100 million category.

An independent jury of industry experts reviewed and scored the entries. The winners were finalized in September at McGraw-Hill offices. Eligible projects had to be located within the four-state region and completed between Sept. 1, 2008 and Sept. 1, 2009.
